Revised Workplace Surveillance Policy
At the Council Meeting held on Thursday 28 May 2026, Council resolved to place the revised Workplace Surveillance Policy on public exhibition.
Council last adopted the Surveillance of Employees Policy in 2015. This Policy has been reviewed and amended to take into account the move to the new Crago Mill Precinct and evolving technology. The primary purpose of this Policy is to ensure the safety of both workers and members of the public, not to act as a disciplinary tool and has been carefully constructed in accordance with many critical pieces of legislation.
The revised Workplace Surveillance Policy will be on public exhibition until 4.00pm Monday 29 June 2026.
What Next?
