At the Council meeting held on Thursday 23 July 2026, Council resolved to place a Draft Voluntary Planning Agreement on public exhibition in relation to Development Consent DA240276 for the subdivision of 2402 Sutton Road, Sutton.
The Development Consent requires Council and the Developer to enter into a Voluntary Planning Agreement for the provision of works and the dedication of land for public purposes, consistent with the Developer’s letter of offer with the original Development Application.
The provision of works and the dedication of land for public purposes include a publicly accessible pedestrian/cycle bridge over McLaughlins Creek and an associated pathway, as well as the dedication of approximately 3.647ha of land to Council as public reserve.
The Draft Voluntary Planning Agreement will be on public exhibition until 4.00pm Wednesday 17 September 2026.
